How to use Laticrete Permacolor Grout

When installing any of the Laticrete grout colors, it’s important to prep your surface appropriately so the product performs optimally. Remove all spacers and clean off dust and dirt using a wet sponge, taking care to not over wet the area. Mix the grout using approximately 2-2 ¼ quarts of clean water for every 25 pounds of grout with a slow speed drill mixer for one minute, let it sit for five minutes, and then remix with the drill for one more minute.

Apply the grout with a firm rubber grout float or wall float for narrow wall joints, removing excess as you work. Allow to dry for 35-40 minutes before the initial cleaning. To clean, lightly wipe down the area with a damp sponge, working diagonally to the joints. Allow to dry for three hours before going in for the second cleaning with a damp sponge or dry cloth to remove any remaining grout haze.

At Tile Pro Depot, we carry all the tools and products you need to do a complete tile install. Whether it be Laticrete Permacolor grout, tile cutters, cleaners, caulks or sealants (we carry a large assortment of Laticrete caulk colors), you’ll find everything in one convenient location.
