Confirm your shower pan utilizes a FloFX Universal or Traditional Drain Body. For third-party bond flanges (like standard Schluter or Profilitec), you must use the FloFX FFX Grate Install Kit.

2.Set the Grate Carrier:

Install the FloFX grate carrier into the drain body, dialing it in so it sits perfectly flush with the anticipated final height of your chosen tile and thinset layer.

3.Insert the Temporary Install Plate:Crucial for protecting the final grate.

Place the included plastic temporary install plate into the carrier. You can now freely spread thinset, lay your floor tile, and apply grout without scratching the metal grate or clogging your plumbing.

4.Drop in the Chain Link Grate:

Once the grout has completely cured and the shower floor is washed clean, remove the temporary install plate and drop the screw-less Chain Link grate into the carrier for a permanent, flawless fit.
