Proper sequencing is critical to ensure the drain is set flush and the final grate remains pristine.

1.Verify Drain Compatibility:Not compatible with Schluter residential adapter kits.

Ensure your shower pan utilizes a standard Schluter Kerdi® or Profilitec® bonded flange drain. Note: This kit is not needed if you are using the FloFX Traditional Round Bond Flange Kit.

2.Set the Riser and Adjustment Ring:

Insert the grate riser and the patent-pending adjustment ring into the bonded flange. Adjust the height so the top edge will sit perfectly flush with the final height of your selected tile and thinset layer.

3.Insert the Temporary Install Plate:Critical for protecting the final finish.

Place the plastic temporary install plate into the adjustment ring. Proceed to spread your thinset, lay your tile, and apply grout. The plate will block all debris from entering the plumbing.

4.Place the Final Grate:

Once the grout is fully cured and the shower floor is washed clean, remove the temporary install plate and drop your standard FloFX grate (sold separately) into the finished assembly.
