Coverage & packaging

The 50 lb (22.7 kg) bag covers approximately 700–750 linear feet (213–229 m) of 3/8 in (9 mm) wide by 1/4 in (6 mm) deep joints. Each bag is factory sealed to ensure quality; store off the ground in a dry area to maintain performance. Installation guidance

Before pointing, remove spacers and debris, then clean joints with a damp sponge; do not leave water standing in joints. Mix approximately 4–5 quarts (3.8–4.7 L) of clean water per 50 lbs of mortar to achieve a flowable consistency. Apply with a trowel, tuck‑pointing tool or mortar bag and finish when the mortar reaches “thumbprint” hardness. For porous stones or tiles, apply a grout release or sealer prior to pointing.
