LATICRETE Hydro Ban Liquid Waterproofing Membrane 5 Gallon is a single-component, self-curing rubber polymer that forms a thin (≈15 mil wet) yet seamless barrier against water intrusion and substrate movement. The cured film exceeds ANSI A118.10 waterproofing and A118.12 crack-isolation performance requirements, making it suitable for “Extra Heavy Service” floors per TCNA Robinson testing.

Compatible substrates & typical uses

Apply over concrete, cement backer board, exterior grade plywood, gypsum board, CMU, metal, and PVC. Common installations include shower pans, steam rooms, fountains, swimming pools, balconies, and kitchens.

Application basics

Prime dusty or highly porous surfaces with a water wipe-down, then roller-apply the first coat at 15 mil wet film thickness.
